CHACALTAYA (HIGHEST SKY RESORT OF THE WORLD 3200 masl)

Our service starts picking you up from your hotel at 08:30 a.m. First, we visit the Moon Valley Park. It is called like that because it looks like the crater of the moon. All this land is erupted totally because of the rain and the wind. The shapes of the eruption are constantly changed. In this place we have a walk in order to know better it. After that, we go to Chacaltaya and we have some stops to take pictures of the snow mountains, green lagoons, animals like llamas and falcons, etc. Our transportation can arrive until 5.260 (m.a.s.l.). There is located a resort restaurant. In this place, we rest for a while to walk up until the top of the mountain ( 5.400 m.a.s.l.). Here, you will be able to see all the chain of mountains of the royal ranges, Titicaca Lake and the highest mountain of Bolivia: Sajama, which is located in the occident side of Andes. Once we back, we stop in a sightseeing to take some pictures of La Paz city. We arrive at 05:00 p.m. approximately.

TIWANAKU

We pick you up from your hotel before 08:30 a.m. The trip last one hour and a half to arrive to Tiwanaku ruins. Along the trip you can see the high lands and snow mountains (Royal range). In this tour you visit the museum and the archeological site. This civilization settled in the shores of the highest lake of the world. It was an advanced and pre- Inca culture, it started around 1.500 b.c. until 1.200 a.c. In that time, they built temples, pyramids and semisubterranean temples. One of the most interesting thing to see is the beautiful Sun Gate (Puerta del Sol) and the right preserved Monolits, which represented its leaders.

Also, you can see advanced tools of metal, stones, acqueducts, and strange iconographs. This is just a part that you will discover of this non well known civilization.

Once the tour finishes you will have time to buy handycrafts and lunch. When we back, we stop in El Alto city.(sightseeing) to enjoy a good view of La Paz city. We back at 15:00 p.m. approximately.

LA PAZ CITY TOUR

We pick you up from your hotel in order to start the tour which lasts three hours approximately. We go through the downtown of the city. Then, half an hour from the downtown is located the Moon Valley (erupted lands). It is called like this because it looks like the moon. Here, we have a little walk. After this, we visit the modern part of the city and we arrive Killi Killi sightseeing which is located in the middle and a high place of La Paz. From this place, you can see this singular city.. Then, you visit the main square in which you find the Cathedral, Government Palace, Parliament and the monument of the leader of Independence revolution of La Paz city. In order to know the old history of this city you will know visiting the gold museum (jewelry of Tiwanaku civilization which is still preserved). Finally, to make a contrast you will visit the native market "Witches"and handycrafts markets.
