Our tour service starts picking you up from your hotel at 8:00 a.m. We travel until La Cumbre ( 4.670 m. a.s.l.) which is the highest part of the route. In this way, it is possible to see llamas, small waterfalls and a spectacular sightseeing of the royal range of the Andes.

 

In La Cumbre, we give you all the equipment (helmet, gloves, jackets and bikes with double suspension). Here, we start riding down having like a leader our guide and behind the last rider the transportation. While we ride down, you will be able to see at the beginning, huge snow mountains and around them falcons and eagles. We stop in strategic places in order to take pictures.

We give you some chocolates and water. The route is 85 km. in which 45 km. is with pavement. You will continuous riding down and you will realize how the weather and landscape change according to the altitude and ecosystem, because you will find a deep valley called Yungas which is full of vegetation and semi-humid climate.

 

Once we arrive to Chuspipata town, we enjoy our lunch to get more energy to continue riding down. After that, the tour is more interesting because we start the real adventure. You will pass by an interesting place called Balconsillo, which is one of the narrowest part of the route. Another place, which is quite interesting, is San Juan waterfall where you get wet a little because you must pass under it.

 

Almost arriving to Yolosa town, which is the place where we finish the riding, you can see fruit trees and coca fields. This tour last 5 hours approximately. Once we finish we go to Coroico town in our transportation.
